(M.T.)", War Medal 1939-1945 impressed "225536 J.C. ERASMUS", and Africa Service Medal impressed "225536 J.C. ERASMUS". Erasmus does not immediately appear in the records. CONDITION: Medals with moderate patina and scattered blemishes. (C) WWII medal bar named to S. Erasmus, 43rd Light Antiaircraft Regiment, South African Artillery. The bar includes Erasmus' 1939-1945 Star named on reverse "M27451 / S / ERASMUS", Africa Star named on reverse "M27451 / S / ERASMUS", Italy Star named on reverse "M27451 / S / ERASMUS", Defence Medal impressed "M27451 S ERASMUS" War Medal 1939-1945 impressed "M27451 S ERASMUS" and South Africa Service Medal impressed "M27451 S ERASMUS". According to included records, Erasmus died on 21 September 1945. CONDITION: Medals with moderate patina and wear marks.
