Full or partial matching serial numbers observed on left flat above chamber, top of bolt carrier, top of bolt stop, lock block, sear, hammer, subframe, frame, magazine baseplate, and interior of both grip scales. Standard 5 - 1/2" .30 Mauser barrel with "WAFFENFABRIK / MAUSER / OBERNDORF A/N" top top flat of faceted area over chamber, serial number offset, Crowned U proof, Crowned M, M over star, and subinspector proofs. Small ring hammer, late style trigger, 2-lug firing pin, 50-1000 adjustable rear sight with sliding elevator, fixed stud with lanyard loop. With combination stock holster correctly numbered on iron and an indistinct ink stamped eagle (possibly Police?) on right side. CONDITION: Good. Retains approximately half of bluing with areas drifting to a brown-plum patina and handling and use marks throughout. Some silvering, most noticeable on barrel and front of magazine housing. Mechanically fine, bore with good strong rifling and mild frosting throughout. Grips have been revarnished, and have a larger chip on left scale with normal scattered handling marks. Stock with normal handling marks throughout, some deeper impressions, 1 gouge on top of compartment, and 1 chip missing near iron. Stock revarnished with some drips on interior.
