Shipped from the Winchester warehouse August 8, 1889. Blued 28" No. 2 weight half octagon barrel chambered in .32 WCF with blade front sight and semi-buckhorn rear. Case hardened low wall receiver with single set trigger. Stocked in wonderful figured walnut with straight grip, rifle buttplate, and ebony inlayed Schnabel tip forend. Factory research confirms options. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrel retains nearly all of its factory blue with faint silvering along the high edges and a few very minor spots. The receiver exhibits the vast majority of its rich and attractive case colors, some thinning to patina present on the lower tang and lever, and also some evidence of a tang sight having been mounted at some point. Stocks are especially fine showing only a few scattered marks. Excellent bright bore retaining sharp rifling throughout. A very attractive Winchester Single Shot.
