Titled "THE WARNING". A Western Ammunition advertisement poster featuring a big bull moose standing in a swamp and surveying his domain as 3 ducks fly overhead. The artist H. G. Edwards signature is in the lower left and it is dated 1921. The bottom panel of the poster shows a box of .22 Long Rifle ammunition with other size cartridges around it on one side and a box of Super X shotgun shells with 6 shells outside the box on the other side. In the center of the panel it reads, "WESTERN / AMMUNITION / SUPER-X - XPERRT - LUBALOY - OPEN POINT - MARKSMAN / WESTERN CARTRIDGE CO. EAST ALTON, ILLINIOS, U.S.A." The poster is 14 - 1/2" by 49 - 1/2" and has both top and bottom metal bands. The frame is 23 - 3/4" by 37 - 1/2". CONDITION: Professionally framed. The colors are very bright. There is some restoration work that has been done to the bottom panel. This original and very desirable poster would look great in any man cave or gun room.
