German World War II early "Alte Art" Panzer Hauptmann tunic. Tunic made from a fine quality Feldgrau wool with light wear, damage, and soiling, with several moth nips and minor tracking. Officer shoulder boards and collar tabs are original to the tunic, as well as the loops for a ribbon bar and 2 medals. Incorrect eagle has been added, "AFRIKACORPS" cuff title has been machine-sewn, however is a known reproduction, EKII ribbon has been added, and the "7" cyphers on the shoulder boards have been added and are incorrect for an officer. Original collar liner is present. Tunic interior is fully lined in a Feldgrau rayon with moderate wear, soiling, and damage, especially in the armpits. An uncommon tunic with added shoulder board cyphers and cuff title, apparently to represent an officer in the 7th Panzer Division. CONDITION: Overall very good. WEZ
