German World War II Luftwaffe summer officer Erel visor cap made in a removable ribbed white cotton with light to moderate staining, with a black ribbed cotton center band with no visible damage. The bullion Luftwaffe eagle is attached with 3 brass prongs, and the bullion wreath/ cockade is correctly sewn on: both have light wear and damage, and appear to be original to the cap. The black vulkanfiber visor exhibits moderate wear and crazing, with a green cross hatched pattern underside with light wear. A officer bullion chin cord is attached, with light damage. The tan leather sweatband exhibits light wear, moderate staining, and is embossed "EREL PATENT, STIRNSCHUTZ". Both the head liner and Celluloid sweat shield appear undamaged with light to moderate staining. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. WEZ
