Lot consists of: (A) German World War II photo album with nicely carved wood cover titled "Kriegs-Album." containing approximately 29 photos (5 loose inside cover). The photos are mostly group and postcard shots depicting scenery, soldiers in winter uniforms, at camp, and in a hospital, with a few scattered shots of destruction. (B) German WWII photo album with cover titled "Aus meiner Dienstzeit" containing approximately 69 photos. The photos depict great images of Luftwaffe personnel in uniform, anti-aircraft batteries, barracks, portrait shots, and images depicting summer and winter uniforms etc. (C) 27 loose photos and Soldbuch from an Afrika Korps veteran. Most photos show scenery with several nice shots of soldiers in uniform. There are several photos of damaged equipment and one with bombs. (D) Small grouping consisting of a Soldbuch and 13 photos from a Luftwaffe veteran who served in Afrika. The photos depict soldier, mostly eating, as well as a nice photo of Stutkas flying in formation. (E) Small German Prisoner of War paperwork grouping with fingerprint and identification papers. CONDITION: All items exhibit blemishes that are typical of old paper and photos including but not limited to edge wear, creasing, small tears, yellowing, etc. Items range from fair-very good.
