Third Reich Allgemeine SS tunic in the paramilitary officer rank of "Oberscharfuehrer". Tunic is made from a black wool with light wear, damage, and stain spots. Officer shoulder strap, collar braid, cuff title, chevron, bottons, and armband appear to be original to the tunic. The right side collar tab is likely to represent the 81st "Fuss-Standarten", and it, as well as the rank tab, are likely to have been added, based the the style of hand application and the fact that the unit collar tab does not match the cufftitle. The cufftitle represents "Standarte 10", the 10th Regiment of the Allgemeine SS. A SS Honor Chevron representing the early "Old Fighters" is present on the right sleeve, which alone makes this an extremely desirable tunic. The SS armband is partially sewn on and is soiled. Four belt support hooks are present on the reverse, and a whistle is hooked to the tunic. Tunic is lined in a full black cotton lining with very light wear and staining, and the sleeves are lined in the striped white rayon. An unique opportunity to own a rare tunic.
