German World War II named Infantry "Oberstleutnant" tunic with breeches. Lieutenant Colonel's fine quality early Feldgrau wool tunic with a French tailor tag presenting "P. CHIBOUT, 14, Rue Saint-Dizler - Nancy' named to "Major Schuster" and "904" in the date block. Tunic exterior has light staining or fading to approximately 40%, with very light wear and damage otherwise. Infantry Lt. Colonel shoulder boards have the cypher for the 61st Infantry Regiment, are sewn in and attached via screw down buttons which are attached to the exterior of the tunic. Infantry officer collar tabs are machine sewn, and the bullion officer eagle is correctly hand-applied. A EKII ribbon is applied correctly, and there are loops for a long ribbon bar and 4 medals (Infantry Assault and Silver wound badges are attached), as well as a hole beneath the pocket for some type of screw-in award. A very worn and well-marked collar liner is attached. Tunic interior if fully lined in a dark green rayon with light wear and the only noticeable damage is where the screw-in badge was attached. A pair of officer breeches are included with light wear, and which present the same soiling or fading as the tunic. CONDITION: Overall very good. WEZ
