German World War II Luftwaffe 4-pocket service tunic. Blue-gray enlisted wool tunic is maker marked "Kanus & Lilie, Breslau" with the appropriate size markings, as well as "LBA35" for the "Luftwaffebekleidungsamt" (Luftwaffe clothing depot) in 1935. The tunic has a tag identifying the name, rank, and unit of "Kanonier Dietz Richard" in the "Stab I./ Fl. Rgt. 49" or the "Staff of the 1st battalion of Flieger Regiment 40", and the collar tabs and chevron represent his promotion to "Obergefreiter". Flak branch red collar tabs are machine sewn, red collar braid is correctly hand-applied, the chevron is hand-applied, and the early droop tail eagle is also correctly hand-applied. The tunic has light wear and damage, approximately a dozen small moth holes and tracking areas, Tunic is lined in a blue-twill cotton fabric with light to moderate wear, and staining, and light damage. Also included in the lot is a pair of officer style red-piped trouser, with very light wear and damage. CONDITION: Overall excellent. WEZ
