This is an excellent 4 barrel set of 12, 20, 28, and .410 gauges that should cover virtually all of a skeet gunners needs. All barrels are mono-bloc, with a tapering vent rib equipped with anti-glare matting, white plastic front sights and steel bead mid sights; 12 gauge barrels are additionally flared at muzzle and ported for recoil control. Undersides of actions with Ulm proofs, II date code for 1988, "MADE IN / W GERMANY", "SHOTGNS / of ULM", matching serial numbers with -1/-2/-3 designations for additional barrels. Other German proofs for caliber and configuration (some different, as 12 gauge barrels are proved for 2 - 3/4" but measure 3"). Competition style forearm with recessed area for fingers, point pattern checkering about the Deely style latch release, lightly engraved with a floral motif at iron; interior iron serial number matches. Iconic Krieghoff boxlock action with retracting hood conceived by Remington for the Model 32 engraved with light floral motifs on both sides of action, underside with a stylized K80 logo and "SHOTGUNS of ULM / Ulm W.-Germany". Single selective mechanical trigger, ejectors in time. Stock of a slightly smokey maple colored walnut with sidepanels, point pattern checkering about the pistol grip with both left and right palm swells, terminating in a Pachmayr White Line waffle recoil pad. Housed in an aluminum case French fitted for the 4 barrels and a separate half for forearm, action, paperwork, and small tools such as a short cleaning brush. CONDITION: Overall excellent. Barrels retain the vast majority of their bluing with some minor handling marks through, mostly at lugs, and marks from the field. Wood is excellent throughout with a few superficial scratches and minor marks from use. Pad is starting to harden and crystallize but is still somewhat pliable. Mechanically fine, bores are all very good with some minor frosting from light use, ejectors are in time. Case is very good with normal minor handling marks.
