Classic American made deluxe Winchester Model 70 Featherweight chambered in .300 Winchester Short Magnum. Fit with a 24" polish blued tapered Winchester proof steel barrel without factory iron sight provisions, a set of scope bases and rings present. Short action with a finely jeweled controlled round feed bolt with claw extractor. Stocked in hand checkered figured walnut with Schnabel forend, sling swivel eyes, hinged floorplate, steel capped pistol grip, and original red rubber Winchester recoil pad. This fine rifle is accompanied by 3 20-round boxes of Winchester Supreme 150 grain Ballistic Silvertip ammunition. Consignor states that he purchased this gun circa 2001 and it was never fired. CONDITION: Excellent showing only a few light handling marks. Excellent mirror bore displaying crisp rifling throughout. Mechanically fine.
