Marcello Garau is an Italian knifemaker known for his unique masterpieces and this lot is nothing short of that. Handle panels are based on Neoplasticism art pieces by the great artist Piet Mondrian (ex. Composition II in Red, Blue, and Yellow) with asymmetric geometric shapes in blue, red and yellow with horn borders and Mother of Pearl white spaces. Blade catch button is engraved with converging circles. Blade catch is cyanide case colored. Blade is 3 - 3/4" and obelisk shaped. Knife is 9" in overall length. CONDITION: Excellent+, with blade bright. Handle shows no major signs of distress. Mechanically fine as blade locks tightly when extended.
