German made Merkel Model 201E made in the German Democratic Republic in the 1980s and imported by Armas De Chasse, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Blued 26" Krupp Laufstahl barrels in 20 gauge with matted rib, 2 -3/4" chamber, ejectors, fixed Modified and Cylinder chokes, and Merkel maker's name. Case hardened scalloped boxlock action with cocking indicators, double triggers, and Kersten locking system. Checkered European walnut English grip stock with Merkel hard rubber buttplate and matching checkered 3-piece forearm with latch release. CONDITION: 95% original blue with light edge wear. 95% vivid case colors. 95% original hand rubbed finish with sharp checkering and small handling wear. Fantastic bores and mechanics. Needs a box!
