Large 13 - 1/2" Bowie knife with clip point blade with later etching on one side "Death to Abolition". Ricasso bears the stamp: "No. 87". Brass cross guard with heavily patinated pinned ivory grips with 7 grooved circular lines. Harness leather scabbard with pinned belt loop. CONDITION: Very good with heavy wear to etching. Scabbard is solid but heavily flaking.
