Lot consists of: (A) Scarce, late 19th century single loop money belt and triple loop holster for a 7 - 1/2" Colt single action. Belt is marked twice, and holster once in oval cartouches "J.A.DONNEL / MAKER / RAWLINS, WYO." Belt has 50 loops that hold .44 or .45 caliber cartridges. (B) Unmarked double looped cowboy holster. CONDITION: Both are very good overall and solid. Set shows honest wear and ghosts of where cartridges and pistol rested in holster. Honest frontier wear to holster body and belt on Rawlins set as can be seen in photos. Set is supple.
