American Eagle Luger manufactured by Mauser. The receiver bears the Great American Seal over the chamber, while the right side bears the serial number and an Interarms import stamp. Toggle bears the Original Mauser banner logo. Left side of frame and top of barrel bear "FPB" within Mauser banner stamps. Front grip strap bears Mauser's manufacturer information. Major metal components exhibit a lustrous dark blue finish, while the trigger, safety lever, and ejector are strawed. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered walnut grip. All numbers are matching. This example is accompanied by its original matching factory box containing its styrofoam insert, cleaning rod, loading tool, factory manual, as well as a 1983 dated parts price list. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory finish, exhibiting some minor superficial marks from storage and handling and some very mild silvering from operation. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting sharp and well defined rifling throughout. Grips are excellent. Box exhibits moderate external wear, with some taped repairs and tears at the corners, but otherwise appears sturdy and serviceable.
