He is wearing a M1840 sword on a leather cross belt suspension and holding a small percussion revolver in his right hand that spears to be a Colt Root. Housed in a fantastic thermoplastic case featuring a burst of George Washington surrounded by a banner that reads: "FIRST IN WAR, FIRST IN PEACE, & FIRST IN THE HEARTS OF HIS COUNTRYMEN". (B) Double armed 6th plate tintype of a Union enlisted cavalryman. He is wearing a 12 button jacket with tinted buttons, a forage cap with large crossed saber insignia, and is holding a M1860 cavalry saber. Housed in a thermoplastic case that features a vignette of crossed cannons, crossed lances with pennons, and Union shields at the top and in the corners. CONDITION: Militia imagine is very clear with no issues and case is excellent. Cavalry trooper has a light stain at top and a few nominal scratches that go left to right in a diagonal fashion on left hand side. Excellent case.
