Standard configuration throughout, with 9 - 1/16" barrel in .54 caliber smoothbore with Wickham barrel band featuring integral brass blade front sight. Marked on lock "S. NORTH" / "U (armory eagle) S" / "MIDLTN CONN." Barrel features "P" / "US" proof near breech. Left flat of stock opposite lock features faint LS cartouche. Ramrod is a correct style replacement. Accompanying this gun is paperwork including notes on condition when this gun was bought from Herb Glass in 1986, when it was appraised by Chubb on May 6, 2002 for $1600, as well as photographs. CONDITION: Very good, with consistent freckling and moderate handling marks throughout. Stock is excellent with light handling marks and minor crack at lock tail. Action needs attention as mainspring is weak, but hammer has 2 stops at half and full cock. Bore is dark with heavy abrasion from use.
