Club foot fowler, likely built in New England circa 1770. Fowler measures 67 - 1/4" overall with 52" octagon to round .72 caliber smoothbore barrel with bead front sight. Early doglock flint lock, possibly a hundred years older than the gun, with single trigger control. Full length hardwood stock with iron hardware. CONDITION: Overall fair with metal turning a dark patina. Wood has traces of original finish with several cracks and slivers missing, some areas around metal have shrinkage gaps. Dark pitted bore; mechanics need attention.
