Lot consists of: (A) Socket bayonet with leather scabbard marked with white paint "MENDEM / N.J." and "1867". Heavy patina with surface loss to scabbard. (B) Socket bayonet with browned finish and nice patina. Marked "B" on socket. (C) Socket bayonet marked "US" with heavy patina. (D) Socket bayonet with faint markings and black leather scabbard. Heavy patina to socket, wear to scabbard. (E) Socket bayonet with heavy patina and bend. Marked "ALLEN MUSKET" in white paint. (F) Socket bayonet with circular proof marked "885-A" with white paint. (G) Unmarked socket bayonet with heavy patina and leather scabbard. Scabbard is supple but worn. CONDITION: Some bayonets appear in relic condition while others range from fair-good.
