Manufactured in 1914. Fit with a 16" round barrel chambered in .25-20 Winchester Center Fire with full length magazine tube, German silver carbine blade front sight, and flip up carbine ladder rear sight. 2 piece walnut stock and forearm with 1 barrel band and carbine buttplate. CONDITION: Good, with barrel chemically turned a blue-brown patina with light wear throughout. A small section of barrel was added to the muzzle to make the barrel length 16" to comply with National Firearms Act regulations. The original forward barrel band also replaced with a magazine ring. Frame has turned a freckled brown patina. Stock and forearm are excellent as restored with expertly repaired forearm tip that now has a small crack. Mechanically fine. Bore is dark with sharp rifling.
