Manufactured in 1919 with a polished blue finish and case-hardened small parts. Slide and frame feature attractive custom foliate scroll engraving extending onto the magazine base. Standard 2" barrel chambered in .25 ACP with recessed blade front sight and square notch rear. The left side of the slide is marked with 2-line address and parent information, with the right side bearing caliber marking. Fit with a pair of attractive smooth ivory grips inset with deep dish style rampant Colt medallions. Complete with 1 dual-tone magazine marked "CAL.25 / COLT". CONDITION: Very good overall. The vast majority of the factory-blued finish is retained with some high-edge wear and handling marks. Significant amounts of muted case colors are also retained, with the grip safety largely fading to a gray patina. The grips are excellent. Frosted bore with strong rifling throughout. Mechanically fine.
