Made in 1894 by Colt Firearms Company in Hartford, Connecticut. Blued round 4 - 3/4" barrel with blade front sight and Colt two line address on top with a roll die "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" marking on the left side in .44-40 W.C.F. caliber. Case-hardened black powder frame with 2-line patent and Rampant Colt in a circle with 6-shot blued "V" marked fluted cylinder. 2-piece black Rampant Colt hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Overall fair; all metal is worn to a silvery patina with some light discoloration and pitting. Grips are worn smooth with a chip out of the left grip. Dark pitted bore with visible rifling with good mechanics.
