A very nice example of an Andrew Johnson Impeachment Trial ticket. Measures approximately 5" x 3" and is dated April 6th, 1868. This ticket is numbered "541". The impeachment trial for Andrew Johnson began on March 13, 1868, and admittance to the hearing was by ticket only. Different colors were assigned for each day of the trial, which lasted until May 26. Johnson was acquitted by the Senate by just 1 vote. CONDITION: Fine with the letters "EX" written in pencil and on verso. Stub is present and firmly attached. Slight fading of colors.
