German World War II Luftwaffe document promoting "Oberstleutnant Ernst Schildknecht" to "Oberst" (Colonel) effective April 1, 1941. Document has a facsimile Hitler signature and is dated March 26, 1941. Present on the lower right is also a facsimile signature of Goering, a Reichsmarschall who commanded the Luftwaffe. Document measures (when folded) 14" x 10" and has a 3" diameter embossed NSDAP eagle. Document folder has a large NSDAP emblem printed in gold. Document and folder have light staining, and light damage, especially to the corners. CONDITION: Overall very good (folder) to excellent (document). WEZ
