18th-century flintlock tinder lighter made by well-known English maker Bunney. Brass frame marked "Bunney" with steel hardware and latched compartment with candle holder, brass stand, and walnut handle. CONDITION: Overall good, with brass showing a natural aged patina. Steel parts have some light surface pitting. Wood has traces of original finish with handling marks and some shrinkage around lock. Mechanics are crisp and function fine.
