These 200% scale cut away models measuring 90" long were built to train GIs on the function of their service weapons. Constructed of cast aluminum with moving parts and a smooth wood stock to replicate the iconic M1 Garand battle rifle. Original wooden base is not present. CONDITION: Very good overall displaying well. Some moderate wear present with a repaired crack at the wrist. Good mechanics. A rare and desirable World War II training aid that would display well in a collection room.
