A wonderful Black Forest carving of a dog and cat. Dog is a stamp holder, cat is an inkwell and the log they are perched behind is a pen rest. Excellent detail, the cat has glass eyes, with unvarnished patina. CONDITION: No damage or repair noted to the carving. The hinged dog's head is a bit loose and the cat inkwell is missing the glass insert. A wonderful example of this desk set.
Condition: (Very Good).
