Standard configuration built at Toyo Kogyo Arsenal. Blued 26" round military barrel with standard protected inverted "V" front sight and standard rear graduated sight to 1500 meters with fold-out aircraft levelers. Blued receiver with sharp 'mum and matching serial numbered bolt with unmarked dust shield. Standard full-length military 2-piece hardwood stock with an intact monopod and correct hardware. Comes with Kokura Arsenal marked bayonet with a straight guard, leather scabbard, and frog. CONDITION: Battlefield used condition with 80% original Arsenal finish on metal, wood has traces of original finish with battlefield dings and marks. The bayonet is in good condition. Good bore and mechanics. A great Pacific Theater World War II Japanese Service rifle and most likely a G.I. bring back.
