Dated 1905 Brooklyn pool championship silver cup, presented to Albert F Young, who defeated Clinton Robinson by a margin of 100 balls to 11 at a tournament in the Montauk Billiard Parlor owned by Clarence Green, located at 585 and 587 Fulton St. in Brooklyn NY. Albert F Young was inter-city New York champion for several years, and a early professional pool player in the sport. The silver cup manufacturer is unidentified with the hallmark being a "W" stamped onto a star, with the additional mark of the numbers "123." CONDITION: The 3 handled cup is straight and not showing any dents or bends. the silver plate has oxidizes in many areas and needs to be cleaned. All the etching can be seen and the cup is well identified. A wonderful piece of early pool/billiard memorabilia.
