Klein Kaliber Wehrsportgewehr K98 style .22 LR trainer manufactured by Mauser. 26" blued barrel with hooded blade front sight and tangent rear sight graduated to 200 meters. Waffenamt proofed on barrel, receiver, and bolt. Full-length 2-piece walnut military-style stock with blued steel mounts and bayonet lug. Complete with period leather sling. CONDITION: Very good. Bountiful amounts of arsenal-blued finish are retained, with some thinning on mounts and pitting on the butt plate. Stocks show some impressions throughout commensurate with training use. Very fine bright bore displaying crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Matching serial numbers observed on barrel, bolt, stock, and barrel bands.
