Model PP manufactured by Walther Left side of slide bears the Walther banner logo followed by markings stipulating Walther's manufacturer information and the caliber and model designations. The right side of the slide, chamber, and barrel bear a "(Eagle)/ N" commercial nitro proof. Spurious partially discernible waffenamt acceptance proofs are present on the left and right sides of the frame. Metal components are blued, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece Walther banner brown plastic grips. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning overall that show through to a pleasant brown patina. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips exhibit scattered marks from handling and storage but are otherwise sturdy and serviceable.
