Manufactured in 1941. Full blue finish with tapered 23 - 3/4" Winchester proofed sporting barrel chambered in .22 LR, hooded blade front sight, and Lyman 57E receiver sight. Stocked in checkered walnut with sling swivels, "SPORTING" marked floor plate, hard rubber grip cap, and serrated steel butt plate. Rifle is complete with leather sling and a detachable magazine. CONDITION: Overall good. The vast majority of the original blued finish is retained with some scattered marks, a small area of loss on the receiver, and expected heavier losses on the butt plate. Stock has some scattered field impressions and bruises but remains very serviceable. Very good bore retaining strong rifling throughout. Mechanically fine.
