Made 1918. This gun was rebarreled for World War II by Johnson Automatic Company with barrel marked with "JA / (Flaming Bomb)". Standard 1917 Eddystone marked action with flaming bomb marked bolt. Walnut military stock marked with "T" on end and "A.A." rebuild stamps, "P" in square and "E" in square inspector marks. Comes with leather sling and refurbished U.S. marked 1907 style saber bayonet. CONDITION: 80% fading arsenal finish on metal with areas of silvery patina. Wood has added coat of oil finish with dark oil-soaked underlying appearance. Bore is good with good mechanics. Bayonet is as new as refinished. Leather strap is torn and tattered.
