Lot consists of (A) Heer dagger with "GEBR HELLER" marked blade with no visible cross graining and evidence of an older polishing. Visible runner mark with scattered blemishes throughout its length. Nickel silver plated fittings retain decent amounts of their finish with patina, and trylon grip exhibits wear and blemishes. A portepee is attached with significant fraying, but intact. Scabbard retains nice amounts of its original finish with mottled patina. Hilt produces a slight wobble when handled. CONDITION: Good. (B) Heer dagger with "A.W. JR SOLINGEN" marked blade with scattered visible areas of crossgraining, moderate runner marks, and light freckling. Nickel silver plated fittings exhibit scattered wear. Heer eagle was denazified. White trylon grip exhibits light wear. Scabbard retains some of its original nickel silver finish with visible wear, oxidation, and areas of pitting. Deluxe hangar is present and exhibits heavy fraying. CONDITION: Fair.
