Lot consists of: (A) WWII German Third Reich long Reichsjagermeister hunting dagger. Blade plain, unfullered, and marked "ORIGINAL EICKHORN SOLINGEN". Stag grip with brass Third Reich eagle. Brass horse hoof cross quillon with shell languet and brass pommel. Blade exhibits scattered light blemishes with light freckling toward the tip. Guard and pommel exhibit a pleasing patina. Stag grip intact with tight eagle. Complete with black painted metal scabbard with scattered scratches and areas of loss. Brass mounts exhibit matching patina to hilt. CONDITION: Very good. (B) Third Reich RAD Hewer with a "CARL EICKHORN", "GES, GESCH.", and "RJAD" in triangle marked steel blade, with light scattered marks and freckling throughout. Blade has the standard "Arbeit adelt" etched on it. Plated acorn cross quillon and round languet. Full stag hilt with light wear. Steel scabbard exhibits areas of paint loss on each side. fittings retain nice amounts of their original factory finish with burnished recesses. CONDITION: Very good.
