Lot consists of: (A) Third Reich dress bayonet with single etched panel and "F.W. HOLLER SOLINGEN" marked blade. Plated blade exhibits minor runner marks. Obverse blade features an etched remembrance of service inscription in raised Gothic letters, “Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit”. Blade is complete with leather buffer pad. Pommel exhibits wear and finish loss. Scabbard retains most of the original black enamel. Bayonet is complete with frog with faint marking on reverse. (B) Third Reich dress bayonet with single etched panel and "ORIGINAL EICKHORN SOLINGEN" marked blade. Plated blade with obverse featuring an etched remembrance of service inscription in raised Gothic letters, “Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit” flanked by 2 Heer eagles. Blade is complete with leather buffer pad. Pommel exhibits light wear. Scabbard retains most of the original black enamel with pitting toward tip. Bayonet is complete with unmarked frog and protpee. (C) Third Reich dress bayonet with single etched panel and "E.U.F. HOPSTER SOLINGEN" marked blade. Plated blade with obverse featuring an etched remembrance of service inscription in raised Gothic letters, “Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit bei dem J.R. 57 Siegen”. Areas of light freckling. Blade is complete with leather buffer pad. Pommel exhibits wear and finish loss. Scabbard retains most of the original black enamel with scattered blemishes. (D) Third Reich dress bayonet with single etched panel and "ORIGINAL EICKHORN SOLINGEN" marked blade. Plated blade exhibits minor runner marks. Obverse blade features an etched remembrance of service inscription in raised Gothic letters, “Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit” on scrolls flanked by 2 Heer eagles. Blade is complete with leather buffer pad. Pommel exhibits light wear. Scabbard retains approximately most of the original black enamel with scattered blemishes. Bayonet is complete with unmarked leather frog. CONDITION: Varying with bayonets exhibiting typical blemishes from wear and storage. Good-very good.
