Lot consists of: (A) Luftwaffe 2nd Model dagger with unmarked nickel-plated steel blade. The blade exhibits areas of cross-graining, with moderate runner marks and scattered blemishes throughout. Aluminum cross-guard and pommel retain most of the dark finish in the recesses with a nice patina. The wire wrapped white trylon grip has light patina with no cracks. The finished steel scabbard has dark patina throughout. An original set of 2nd Model Luftwaffe hangers are attached to the scabbard, which are in very good condition and marked "D.R.G.M." CONDITION: Good. (B). Luftwaffe 2nd Model dagger with "TIGER SOLINGEN" marked nickel-plated steel blade. The blade exhibits an older polishing, with moderate runner marks and scattered blemishes throughout. Aluminum cross-guard and pommel also exhibit an older cleaning but retain some of the dark finish in the recesses. The wire wrapped white trylon grip has nice patina with scattered blemishes. The finished steel scabbard exhibits evidence of an older cleaning. An original Luftwaffe Portepee is attached to the grip of the dagger. Hilt is slightly loose. CONDITION: Good
