Third Reich early red glass-eyed silver SS Lion Head sword with a "Eickhorn" high quality nickel-plated blade with scattered marks, light freckling near the cross guard, and a number of very tiny nicks on its edge. Silver-plated brass fittings retain 90+% of their finish with a pleasant patina overall. The black celluloid covered silver wire-wrapped wood grip has very light wear and damage. SS runes and eagle are on the cross guard's shield, and the lion head features red glass eyes. The scabbard retains approximately 65% of its original black paint with scattered marks and freckling throughout. There are 2 shallow 1/2" dents on the left side.
