Made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1923. Standard 24" round Nickel Steel takedown barrel with Marble fold-down rear sight and integral dovetailed bead blade front sight and Winchester address with ".30 GOV'T 06" caliber marking. Standard Winchester bright blue finish with blued lever and hammer, plain trigger, standard box magazine, and Lyman No. 41 peep sight. Deluxe checkered walnut stocks with blued hook and eye swivel and blued checkered steel buttplate. Comes in period leather covered purple felt lined fitted case with leather sling. CONDITION: 95% fading original barrel blue with edges turning silver and muzzle showing some case wear. Nice screws that look like most have never been turned. Case-hardened parts have faded to a brown patina. Wood has 95% original finish with light scratches and dings. Bright and shiny bore with sharp rifling and great mechanics. Case has some dings and bruises, with the lining starting to tatter.
