Shipped August 26, 1906. Factory polished blued finish throughout. Fit with a 24" Winchester-proofed nickel steel barrel in always desirable .405 WCF chambering. Drift adjustable Lyman front sight with elevation adjustable rear, and an additional frame-mounted Lyman 21 aperture sight. Diamond checkered figured walnut splinter forend with ebony inlaid Schnabel tip. Checkered straight grip figured walnut butt stock with checkered hard rubber shotgun style WRACO butt plate. Included factory research confirms special order options, sights not listed. CONDITION: Very fine. The vast majority of the factory applied blue is preserved throughout, with some thinning and expected wear. Hammer retains strong traces of case color. Forend is fine with some added finish. Buttstock has a layer of added finish around the butt plate, which has started to flake and crinkle. Inside of stock stamped "1361" with no assembly number visible on frame. Strong, lightly frosted bore with well-defined drifling. Mechanically fine. A nice deluxe '95 in Teddy Roosevelt's favored Winchester safari caliber.
