Manufactured in 1921. Features include blued finish throughout, a 22" round barrel chambered in .30 Army (.30-40), blade front sight, military-style ladder rear sight graduated to 1800 yards, saddle ring, plain walnut buttstock with trap carbine butt plate, and finger groove walnut forend with handguard retained by a single barrel band. CONDITION: Excellent, appears unissued. Nearly all of the factory blue is retained throughout, barring light wear from operating the action and an area of pinprick toning on the right side of receiver. Stocks are excellent and retain virtually all of their original finish. Bright bore displays razor sharp rifling. Crisp mechanics. These handy carbines often saw heavy use, including with private security and police forces, making high-condition specimens like this exceptional carbine quite scarce.
