M1917 American Enfield manufactured by Remington Arms in 1918. 26" Eddystone barrel dated "12-18" with flaming bomb ordnance stamp. "R" marked protected blade front sight and "E" marked ladder rear. Ordnace bomb marked Remington receiver with "W" stamped dogleg bolt. Finger groove walnut military stock with boxed "RIA / FK" rebuild marking and standard hardware. Complete with a 1918 dated Remington bayonet and leather scabbard. CONDITION: Very good. The vast majority of the arsenal reapplied parkerized finish is retained throughout, with some expected high-edge wear. Stock is good, with the butt lightly sanded and the rear section of the handguard replaced. Abraded bore with visible rifling. Mechanically fine. Bayonet is good.
