Manufactured 1940. Standard Service Model Ace roll marks, spaced SM prefix serial number. Stevens adjustable rear sight, tall serrated ramp front sight. Small parts comprise a checkered spurred bordered hammer, thick tab safety, slide release, magazine release, short milled trigger, long A1 grip safety, and arched knurled magazine housing. Ivory grips. 2-tone magazine with straight-down load assist. CONDITION: Overall very good as reblued, retaining virtually all of that bluing with some minor handling marks and a few areas of silvering to high edges and a takedown mark. Some areas of light pitting visible under the blue on bottom of frame. Grips are very good with no cracks or chips. Mechanically fine, bore has strong rifling with some mild frosting.
