Northern Plains Native tanned elk hide stitched with red trade cloth panels beaded in white strips with a striking blue and yellow border, long string decorations with blue beads along with edge fringe and bottom fringe. Inside shows the remnants of a painted geometric design. 88" x 10 - 1/2" wide with 29" fringe at bottom. Some moth damage to the wool, sweat stains to the underside of the hide. Shows well on its custom plexiglass wall mount.
