Lot consists of: (A) Pipe tomahawk with pewter head, circa 1900. Head measures 7" tall with a 3 - 1/2" cutting edge. Features a large bowl with unusual flared turkey spur design. Haft is drilled for smoking and features carved alligator motif in raised relief. Old tag attached to bowl in period iron ink reads: "Menominie / Indian / Very rare / -----". (B) Pipe tomahawk with brass head, circa 1890. Head measures 7" tall with a 2 - 3/4" cutting edge. Retains beautiful dark mustard patina with very nice stepped shoulder moulding design. Haft is carved hardwood, drilled for smoking, with raised relief arrow and rattlesnake motifs. CONDITION: Both a very good with only minimal dings to blade and hafts.
