Manufactured circa 1968-1969. High polish blued finish with an 8 - 3/8" round barrel with checkered rib, partridge front sight, micrometer click rear, 6 shot fluted cylinder chambered in the classic .357 Magnum, case hardened serrated trigger, checkered hammer, and 2-piece checkered walnut service stocks with inset S&W medallions. Revolver is complete with a numbers matching 2-piece blue box with factory paperwork and a set of Alcyon handcuffs in a black leather carrier. CONDITION: Excellent. Nearly all of the factory high polish blue is retained with some high-edge silvering, muzzle wear, a turn line, and scattered handling marks. 1 small spot of toning present on the left side of the frame. Majority of muted case colors displayed on trigger and hammer. Stocks are excellent. Fine mirror bore exhibiting sharp rifling. Fine mechanics. Matching serial number stamped on frame under the crane, butt, and inside of the right grip. Box is good, with some soiling and wear on lid.
