Manufactured 1918. Standard configuration with British proofs throughout, including "ENGLAND" export proof and double Broad Arrows indicating surplus out of British use. Grips are slightly too small and are period replacements, and have 21 "kill notches" around the perimeter of the heel. Cylinder has been cut to utilize .45 ACP on moon clips. CONDITION: Good, mostly a smooth chocolate patina with flashes of gunmetal grey throughout, and approximately 20% of the British bluing retained in protected areas. Mechanically fine, bore has good visible rifling softened by frosting throughout.
