Lot consists of: (A) A good example of an M1881 holster that retains its belt loop, toe plug, and full flap. The body and flap are solid. The surface is smooth with light cracks and bends, and the embossed US is bold. The holster is for the revolver with the original 7 - 1/2" barrel. 6 brass rivets secure the belt loop. Marked "LAMZ, OWEN & CO / CHICAGO" on the reverse. The loop is very solid, and the surface is very good to excellent, with a smooth, shiny surface to the leather. CONDITION: Very good. (B) Model 1874 Dyer cavalry cartridge box marked with faint Benicia arsenal stamp on reverse. Brown leather pouch with oval “US” embossed front flap and brass plated flap-finial attachment. Features riveted belt loops on reverse and wool-lined inner pocket. The leather is good, with some very light crazing in areas. Stitching is tight, inner ears are solid. CONDITION: Very good. (C) M1874 leather belt and square enlisted belt plate. The rectangular brass Model 1874 Belt Plate has the letters "US" in a raised oval, leather belt is stamped with inspector marks. Rock Island Arsenal stamp present on leather. Areas of light cracking with overall supple leather. Plate exhibits patina. CONDITION: Good.
